they don't look gold to me!

They are goldish, they are very subdued. Would look great with white pants (which I would never wear) and a really good tan which I barely fake these days.

In any case, they are not a colour seen in seattle.

So,once again, I'm hip.

What about croc purses?

I like 'em!
Tastefully taupe, not gold.
I was advised recently by another customer at Talbots that flesh colored shoes are sexy.

no. too much crocs. shoes alone. (years ago, my friend BJ and I were wandering around a vintage shop. There was a wonderfully overdressed european woman looking at the jewels. The saleswoman pulled out a bracelet for her to look at, and we heard the (heavily accented) phrase "non! too much doggies!"

Well, try not to sneak a peak at the offending piece when you hear something like that! The lady was still waving her hand around dismissively (check the spelling on that one, please. Someone. Anyone.) What was the offending piece? A charm bracelet with scotties all around. Maybe 8 or 9 little gold doggies.

From then on, whenever we saw something that was "too too," the response was "too much doggies!"

except in the case of crocs and a matching purse. "Too much crocs!"

Can you move the little jewels around the shoe for a different balance each day?

Are those SILVER??? You DEFINITELY need some pink.

These are gold, not silver, the silver looked like the silver from the crayola box. These look like the gold from the crayola box.

I have a box of 64 at home, I'll check them out.

I still think croc purses are next and then JK will cringe when I say:

Croc/ugg/flipflops are next!

think of the marketing possibilities.

I say, wear them out and see what happens...

I'm wearing them now. I bought them specifically to wear to my cousin's persian american prince wedding next month in San Jose.

Then again, I don't want to give my mom a heart attack, so I'll change into the kate spades at the reception.

Everyone here loves them. JK has to see them to love them. I'll wear them for her in Chicago in less than a month!
