How can an airline that I have seriously put 100K of butt in seat mileage for the last six years continue to put my in the back of the plane in a middle seat every time I book a ticket.
They really must be trying to piss me off.

If it's BA you're on to a looser. The are money-pinching Brits after all. Give up on them. Get a connecting flight to Boston and fly AA to Heathrow (if you can't get one direct from Seattle).
